The District 32 Women’s Event Committee is a special committee in District 32 (Bayonne, New Jersey) in Area 44 (Northern New Jersey Alcoholics Anonymous) and follows the 12 Tradition and Concepts of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Yes, our events are for Women in AA only and for those who have a drinking problem or have a desire to stop drinking.
No, there is no cost to attend, however there is a suggested voluntary contribution requested at registration. The Committee's financial goal is to become self-supporting and break even. We hope to accomplish this through voluntary registration fees to cover the costs of running the events while not imposing an economic barrier to any alcoholic women who want to attend these events.
We hold two events per year in April (usually the 4th Sunday) and October (usually the 1st Sunday).
Yes, registration is required for all attendees. The in-person event space is limited however if the event is booked, we open a waiting list that is monitored closely. For on-line attendees we require registration so that we have plenty of tech hosts available to keep the event running smoothly for the best possible on-line and hybrid experience.

Yes, the events are “hybrid” meaning attendance is available in person in Bayonne, New Jersey and online. Currently, the events use the Zoom platform.
Yes, there is street parking available. The Committee works with the local municipality and county regarding event only parking and will announce additional parking arrangements for each event. We always recommend carpooling.

YES – we are always looking for new volunteers and new committee members! Our committee meets online on the 4thWednesday of most months at 7:30pm (EST) with a few additional online meetings in the weeks leading up to the events and on an as needed basis. Local volunteers and committee members meet in person at the event location in Bayonne, New Jersey on the day before the event for set up and the day of the event.
